Which trains do you use for wooden train track?

We are planning on buying a Circo brand wooden train track set from Target for my son for Christmas, but we are confused about which trains work on it. We know that it is compatible with Thomas the Train engines, but is it the wooden ones or can you use the little metal ones? Any help is appreciated!

question about recalled toys due to lead… are they all toys including the soft plastic kind? my son has this

exersaucer that have built in toys on it that are meant to be teething toys. they are colored plastic. when i think of recalled toys with lead in them, i think of train track sets and wooden toys that are painted. i was looking on the mattel site and some toys that were recalled look like molded colored plastic. i didn’t think plastic toys would be affected since they’re not painted, you know? what is your take? do you think those plastic teething toys, rubber blocks, etc can have lead paint in them?

What's a good way to make a plastic train track from not coming apart?

My 3 year old son has a Thomas Train Track that is plastic obviously. He has a good ‘ol time playing with it until his 1 year old sister comes along and destroys the train track. lol.

I was wondering if there was a cheap and easy way to make the train track not come apart. I was thinking about super gluing the pieces together but wanted to check here first.

Any tips or suggestions?? All the help is greatly appreciated!

My niece is almost nine months and my brother and sister in law have a toy train set that moves under there christmas tree my niece puts her shoes on the train track so they get run over is that normal?
