can someone tell me about toy train sets?

a relative got my <2 year old a train table for christmas and another is getting him a train set…a normal wooden one. what’s the difference between all the brands? do they all have a standard size (like could you use thomas trains on a circo (the target brand) wooden track) or are they all different and only some fit with certain ones? my mom said there are two different sizes of tracks, so …um… what are they and how do you tell? or is that not the case at all? haha. I’m completely clueless and have to go shopping for the train set for that relative because they can’t get out of the house easily…so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Is it appropriate for a two year old male toddler to have a kitchen play set?

I bought this kitchen set for my little boy. When I brought it home my husband said that I should have gotten him a train set instead which he would love. I already have a nice thomas the tank engine set in mind to purchase. The wooden stove is 19 X 15 X 28 height and comes with pots and pans. I know of a mom parent who has a three year old boy who plays with plastic coffee sets and other kitchen cooking play stuff.

What was your first kiss like?

I believe I am going to have my first kiss tomorrow!
I think it’s going to be how I planned. I’m going over my moms friend house tomorrow
(In my head this is how it’s going to happen)

So they guy I like is my moms friend grandson. (We actually kissed when we were 5 or 6, I was a princess and he was Thomas the train, got a picture to prove it. If I find it I will post it =D)

So my mom is bringing flowers to plant (For real) in her backyard. I will be planting some flowers and he will come over and we will talk and we will laugh. *Sigh* he will look in my eyes and we will kiss. (Like small kiss with a little lip sorry if it’s TMI)

Ugh! I hope I don’t get my hopes up to high if this doesn’t happen. My moms friend told my mom who told my sister who told me that he liked me! That’s a first. I am pretty self conscious and I think the people are thinking the worst about me.

And if we do what do I say after? I don’t want it to be awkward. That would totally ruin my first kiss fantasy!

I am an elf on the polar express?

What should I wear that looks, well, elfish? My mom is taking me shopping soon to look for elf clothes, what should I wear, ? plus there are 2 shifts to being a polar express elf, I am both of these, if you are doing to north pole elf you are outside and right now, here its 20 F, yesterday it was -0 degrees so i needs things that are elf looking and warm at the same time, then the train elf you are inside so you’ll be pretty warm, different shifts on different days, help please, thanks! i am 14

My 8 month old puppy loves playing with his toys…and makes a mess!! he takes them out to the living room (my room is right next to it) and my mom always yells at me and says" YOU NEED TO KEEP THOSE TOYS IN YOUR ROOM!!) So i was wondering, how do i train my rat terrier/ chihuahua pup not to do that??

What are some good birthday gifts for a 3 year old who has WAY too many toys??

Hi, my son is turning 3 April 19, and I was wanting to know what are some good gift ideas, I know clothes, but I want him to feel like he got something cool ya know. My mom is getting him a swing set, and he ALREADY has a trampoline, and two huge toy boxes overflowing with toys, and too many dvds to count, I am just at a loss!!! He love Thomas the Train and Bob the Builder……………………
He has TWO power wheels, the JEEP, and then a JOHN DEERE TRACTOR one, two train sets, one wooden one plastic, a crate full on about 300 blocks……..a bookcase full of books………OMG my child is too spoiled, I guess I am just gonna have to get him clothes and some new books
and for the people saying Im raising a spoiled child, I didnt buy him all this stuff, we live right in between my husbands mom, grandma and dad, and they are the ones always buying it!! Thanks though Nice to see you can judge me and my son from one questions…..nice

The Polar Express Movie Question?

In the Movie "Polar Express" there is that hobo dude sitting on top of the train and he asks the kid, "Do you believe in ghosts?" and so at that point I thought he was a ghost since he disappeared and reappeared in and out of the movie. Then the man operating the train was telling the kids how he almost fell off the train once and a person helped him up then disappeared. Then the little girl said, "Was it an Angel?" My mom and I had an arguement, so help me settle it. Was the hobo guy a ghost or an angel? Please explain your answer.

I really need to find this book?

My mom loves this childrens story about a cats friendship and excepting others.
Its called "Thomas and friends" we dont know who its by and when we look for it all we find are books about thomas the train witch is no help at all.
