The trundle drawers roll easily. We got the white and it’s a nice finish. I don’t think it’s wood, probably MDF. Would have preferred wood. the tabletop with graphic is not reversible, a simple thing that would have enhanced its use for games, legos, other things besides trains. The company shipped white table and honey drawers by mistake. They promptly shipped the correct drawers when we notified them and sent prepaid labels for returning the mismatched ones. They didn’t wait for us to ship back or delay rectifying the error in any way. Really appreciated that.” “I bought the train table for a library. On Amazon, the table came with a train set. However, when it arrived there was no train set. I called the third party vendor and they would not honor adding the train set. I have had to spend additional money to get a train. The other issue is that the table does not have enough support to withstand young children who may climb on it. We are having to add additional support ourselves for the level of use it will receive in a public space.
